Why is Dr. Gonski changing her practice? 

Dr. Gonski wants to continue to give patients prolonged time to better address their concerns. She wants to focus on disease prevention and symptom improvement which is hard to achieve in the current medical model where appointments only last 10 -15 minutes. In addition to wellness, all traditional gynecology issues will be addressed.


What if I need to see Dr. Gonski quickly? 

Due to a limited patient panel the new model will allow for quick access for urgent visits and regular follow up for wellness visits. Depending on the level of urgency, same day or next day visits will be available. 


How can I reach Dr. Gonski? 

For urgent questions please call the office at (504) 459-2591 or send a message through the physician portal. 


Will Dr. Gonski continue to perform surgery? 

Yes. Dr. Gonski will continue to provide surgical care as needed. Any charges that occur during the hospitalization will be billed to your insurance provider when applicable. 


What does the annual membership fee cover? 

Membership to the Pure Practice allows for Executive Wellness visits, extended time on visits, easier access, discounts on supplements and non-traditional testing. 


Does Pure Health & Gynecology accept Insurance? 

Pure Health & Gynecology accepts and bills private insurance for all visits that are covered by the insurance company. Co-payments are due at the time of service if applicable. For questions regarding insurance or treatment fees please call our staff at (504) 459-2591. Any traditional lab testing and imaging will continue to be billed to your insurance. 


What are my payment options for the membership? 

The membership fee is an annual fee that the Member may elect to pay annually, or divided bi-annually, or quarterly. 


 Will insurance cover the membership fee? 

No. Medical services provided by Dr. Gonski may be considered an approved expense if using a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flex Spending Account (FSA). Please check with your Employer or accountant as to what expenses are covered.
